Punches through 3/4" oak like it's nothing. I pre-drill with a countersink bit first like the instructions say, then one squeeze and the hole is perfectly round. No tearout on the back side, which is exactly what I was fighting with a drill bit.

Bought this for a cabinet run, 40+ shelf pin holes in birch ply. Zero splintering on any of them. My hands aren't sore either, the leverage is better than I expected for something this compact.

MDF was always a nightmare for me, edges would blow out no matter how slow I went. This gives a clean crisp edge every single time. Wish I'd found it two projects ago.

Works exactly as described on plywood and MDF. Takes real effort on hardwood over an inch thick though, I have to lean into it with my body weight. Still faster and cleaner than drilling, just don't expect it to be effortless on thick oak.

The two-step process sounds fussy until you do it once. Pre-drill, punch, done. Holes come out looking machine-made.

Solid steel, no flex in the frame at all. I'm somewhere around 200 holes in and it still cuts as clean as day one.

Does what it claims but the instructions are thin. Took me a few tries to work out how deep the pre-drill actually needs to be. Once I sorted that out it's been fine. Would be five stars with a proper guide in the box.

Using this for decorative wall panels. Every hole identical, no sanding afterwards. That alone saved me an entire afternoon.

Compact enough to keep in the drawer instead of hauling out the drill press for one hole. That's the real win for me.

Furniture hardware installs got a lot faster. Clean holes mean the screws sit flush and nothing looks amateur.
