2 weeks agoThe detachable base is the part I did not expect to use most. Pop it off the bracket and it becomes a proper base for the trim router, so I am not swapping tools for a straight edge job.
3 weeks agoThick aluminium, no deflection when you push a cut. Bracket only was the right buy for me since I already had the cutter, but check your router first - it fits my Makita RT0701C, and the compatible list is worth reading before ordering.
1 month agoGrooving with the guide rule against the board edge gives a dead parallel channel every pass. I do a lot of cabinet backs and this replaced measuring and clamping a straightedge each time.
1 month agoLaser scale is etched deep and easy to read under shop light, which matters when you are setting a radius by eye. Got the full set so nothing was missing on day one.
