The scriber is the part I did not expect to use much and now use constantly. Scribe the centre line down the edge, line the jig up to it, drill. Faster than pulling a tape twice.
week agoAnodised finish has held up in a damp garage shop with no rust spots. Adjusting the feet by the screw lets me walk down a long edge without unclamping every time.
weeks agoDepth collars are what sold me. Set the collar once and every hole bottoms out at the same depth, so the dowel sits right and the joint pulls up tight with no gap.
weeks agoAccurate and well made. The bits included are fine for softwood but I swapped to my own brad points for hardwood. The jig itself is the value here, not the bits.
weeks agoUsed the 8mm guide for a floating shelf run and the 6mm for some small drawer boxes. Swapping guides takes seconds and nothing has worked loose.
weeks agoI do a lot of panel glue-ups and dowels keep the boards from sliding around under clamp pressure. This gets the holes lined up on both faces without a fuss.
weeks agoSolid aluminium, no flex when you press down on it. Nothing here is going to snap the way the plastic jig I had before did.
weeks agoDoes the job well on cabinet doors and desktops. Instructions are thin, but the tool is obvious enough once you have it in your hands and drill one test hole.
weeks agoContinuous drilling along an edge is genuinely quick. I did a whole wall panel run in an evening and every dowel lined up on the mating piece.
weeks agoCorrect angle, correct depth — no deviations, no gaps
